If you are interested in creating more products without intense research and writing, you might think of creating a regular podcast. A podcast is an audio version of a blog; much like a radio broadcast. The point of conducting a podcast, is to communicate useful information or entertainment to your audience. You can interview experts in your niche and promote your interview as a webinar or tele-seminar.

One way to create a product is to use the power of audio. One way to do that is with the interview style of product. Busy people have more time to listen than to read these days. They can take an mp3 file anywhere. Here are a few tips to get your interview product launched.

Imagine having your own talk show in which you interview celebrities who promote their books and products. The fantasy is quite easy to realize. The first step is to create a podcast and syndicate it. Promote your "show" on blogs and online communities. Podcasts allow you to be the star of your own radio or Television show for practically no money. You'll need a microphone for your computer and some audio software as well. Here is how to get it done.

Create a plan for your podcast. Get out paper and pen or computer and lay out a plan with a schedule. Get a plan together to create and promote your podcast. Lay out your schedule and contact your "celebrities" for interviews. The people you are looking for are those in your target market and moving up the ladder of credibility. The experts in your market who can solve the problems of your prospects are the first ones to contact. Google them or go to Amazon to research your market niche. Check online to see if you can find them at their websites or on community sites.

Prime the podcast pump. If you are new to podcasting, get your podcast up and running. Get your first six podcasts uploaded by using a commentary format or a question and answer format. Send your current subscribers a questionnaire and get their feed back on issues important to them. Use the results to create a series of podcasts in which you address the problems proffered by the folks in your list.

Begin to promote your podcast. Use the power of your list to promote your podcasts. There should be a launch promotion for your podcast to get the buzz going. You should be making promotional contacts and make connections to schedule interviews in your market. Promote the launch as if you were promoting a product. Contact other list owners to let them run an ad swap with you to promote your new podcast.

Construct your script for your interviews. Create a standard script that you can use to set up your interviews. You can send the script to your potential interviewees ahead of time and allow them to craft their responses. This will also allow those who aren't used to being interviewed to get a sense of what's coming.

Install the right programs for podcasting and recording. Use a program that allows you to make the call from your phone or web-phone and record clearly the conversation on both ends. There are many audio programs out there for the PC as well as the Mac systems.

Conduct the interviews in a comfortable style. Practice a few times before you get going on your first real interview. Have a few dry runs with friends and get used to the sound of your voice. You will be hearing it a lot as you do this. After you record the material, you'll be editing it. Use one of the editing programs such as the free program Audacity to remove gaps, dead air and any other awkward silences.

Promote the interviews. The main goal is to promote the interviews to your and get your interviewee to promote the interview to their list as well. When you're done, give your interviewee a link to the finished episode.

You can create a powerful ally for your website with a regular podcast that conducts interviews. You can then take the collection of interviews and create a marketable product. For more information on promoting your online or brick and mortar business, subscribe to my podcast below.

Stretching Your Healthcare Dollar

Employers nationwide face critical decisions about their health benefits program. Should they continue funding their employees health benefits at the same contribution level as in the past? Should they keep the same level of benefits as before? What can be done to minimize costs and maximize benefits? These are tough questions.

Rising health care costs and an uncertain economy require an employer to examine various options when making health care decisions.

These include:

1. Eliminating all health benefits

2. Reducing or eliminating other fringe
benefits to maintain the current level of
health benefits

3. Modifying the existing health benefits
program by increasing employee co-payments
or cost-sharing

4. Shopping for the most affordable coverage available from various carriers

Finding solutions to dampen the effect of rising insurance premiums can be difficult. However, there is an additional consideration that is often overlooked. As with any vendor selection process, a business owner must consider the value gained from selecting a health benefits plan. Often, many look only at price and overlook the investment perspective involved in purchasing a health benefits plan. An employer should ask, What am I getting for my money?

A health plan should do more than simply pay the bills. It should provide opportunities to improve and maintain health. Health benefits plans that promote health fairs, wellness and disease management programs provide opportunities for achieving better health outcomes. Improved health outcomes can translate into reduced health care expenditures and affordable premiums.

Some health benefits companies are adding discount programs that focus on healthy living, including diet and nutrition counseling, and discounts at local fitness centers. Disease management programs focus attention and resources on conditions with which patient self-care efforts are significant. There are specific intervention programs for diabetes, asthma, wound care and congestive heart failure.

If you thought health care didnt have enough acronyms, here is one more. Some carriers are beginning to offer Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM). CAM focuses on alternative forms of health care treatment, such as massage therapy, acupuncture or homeopathy. CAM is one of the fastest-growing areas of employee health benefits. There are estimates that as many as 36 percent of adults use some form of CAM. These additional benefits are not just bells and whistles. The introduction of these programs often increases employee satisfaction. And increased satisfaction is a byproduct of the programs purpose. The aim of these programs is to focus on improving health outcomes. They seek to provide an improved return on the investment of premium dollars and create a shift in the traditional insurance paradigm of just paying bills.

When an employer chooses a health benefits company with programs that emphasize total health, it is making an investment in its employees well-being and future. Therefore, when selecting a carrier, remember to find one that provides opportunities to stretch your health care dollars by offering fitness
and CAM programs that help the mind, body and wallet.

Talk to any insurance advisor and you are bound to be bombarded by hordes of different kinds of insurance policies. Is it any surprise that a normal person gets confused when choosing a right insurance policy for his needs? Advisors take advantage of this buyer's ignorance and promote those policies that fetch them the highest returns. Two such widely promoted types of insurance policies are unit link insurance plan and whole life insurance plan. However there are quite a few differences between these policies. We take a look at how both these policies differ.

Unit link insurance plan: Unit link insurance plan or ULIP is the most widely promoted type of insurance plan. When you pay a premium, you are given a insurance cover and part of premium is invested in the fund of your choice. In the initial years, a major part of the premium goes towards buying an insurance cover and remaining portion is invested. Most unit link plans offer choice of 3 funds: pure equity, balanced which contains a mixture of debt and equity in varied proportion and pure debt. Depending on your risk appetite as well as market scenario, you can choose appropriate fund(s). You can also switch between funds if the market condition or your personal circumstance changes. However the drawback of unit link insurance plan is the high charges. Also many advisors mis-sold these plans by telling that there is no need to keep on paying the premium for the duration of the plan, just three years would suffice. Though conceptually this is correct, fund will keep on debiting its charges from the amount invested. So if there is no sufficient amount in your account to pay these charges, your life cover will cease and you'll have to buy a new policy.

Whole life insurance: A whole life insurance policy is an insurance policy that provides you with insurance cover for as long as you live or 100 years, whichever is earlier. This means when buying a whole life insurance you have to keep on paying premiums till the end. Due to this drawback, this plan lost out to ULIP. To combat this Tata AIG has introduced its Mahalife Gold where you need to pay premiums just for 12 years while the life cover continues till your death. In addition, you start getting 5% of sum assured from sixth year onwards along with bonuses accrued. Once 12 years are over, you can use this money as pension for old age. However unlike ULIP, a whole life insurance plan does not give you flexibility of investing as per your risk profile. Also their charges are not transparent.

Study your risk profile. Do you want to earn higher returns while enjoying insurance cover? Do you want the flexibility of deciding where your monies would be invested and know what are the charges for buying an insurance? Then an unit link insurance plan is your best bet. But if you want an uninterrupted life cover without any increase in premium, then a whole life insurance plan is right for you.

What Is A 0% Interest Auto Loan?

Car advertising shows that hot brand new car just begging you to buy it. The ad also says the dealer will give you 0% financing on it. Is that a good deal? Here is what you need to know about 0% financing on your auto loan.

Car dealers are out to make money - like any business. This means that they have to work to constantly get a new turnover of clients all the time. 0% financing is just one of many tools used to get the general attention of the public so that they will come and take a look. And if you are wondering - yes, there is a catch that may make their more regular offers a little more enticing - once you understand the actual offer.

Since everyone likes to think they can get something for nothing - it works to draw people to their car showroom floors. This ends up actually being an either/or situation.

0% financing allows you to make a quick discount on your car financing but only under certain conditions. For instance, in most cases it will require that you pay for the car in three years or less. This causes there to be a pretty hefty monthly payment - even without the interest. In fact, the payment on this kind of auto loan may be still be more than $100 to $150 higher than another loan - even with the interest added!

Other possible subtractions from the new vehicle price most likely will not be allowed. Rebates and other dealer incentives may not be added to the deal on a 0% financing auto loan package. This places you in a position of having to make a choice. You can either get the 0% financing or the package that has the interest plus the possibility of rebates and other offers.

In order to see which deal will work best, you need to do some searching and find auto loan calculators. These will quickly enable you to see the difference between the two loans, enabling you to see which on will best fit your situation.

Some offers require that you also need to put down up to 25%, in order to qualify for the 0% auto loan. This is a pretty steep price - but certainly there are those who can afford it. With this kind of "deal," however, many people will not even care to qualify.

If you are looking for a low monthly payment, then the choice seems to be rather obvious - 0% financing is probably not for you. For others who can afford it, it can be a great way to have the car paid for in a short time - without interest (or incentives).

Before you do any financing for an auto loan, however, it is always a good idea to shop around. Someone else may have a better deal and you do not want to pay more than is necessary for your new car. Get several quotes, do the calculations, and compare them carefully to find your best deal.

What to Consider For a Great Used Car Loan

Finding a good used car loan doesn't have to be hard. If you do your research and find the right lender, you can get a great loan with little hassle. It is also important to find the right used car to purchase. Here are some things to keep in mind when looking for and financing your used car.

A used car is a better investment than a new car for several reasons. One of the biggest reasons is that a new car depreciates rapidly the moment you drive it off the lot. Even if you get a great deal on a new car, you will never get recoup the initial loss. A used car can be just as dependable and is much more economical. You can even get used cars with great warranties to help you defray any repair expenses that may arise. You can get a lot more car for your money when you buy used, because you will pay less for those luxury items like leather seats or a DVD system. Overall, buying used is a smarter move than buying a new car.

There are some things to be wary of when you are looking at a used car. Watch out for inflated prices. Find out the realistic value of the used vehicle before going to look at it, so you will know what is a fair price. Be careful of hidden mechanical problems. Always get any used car checked out by a mechanic that you trust before making a deal.

When you decide you are going to purchase a different vehicle, it is good to get a used car loan quote up front. This way you know how much you can spend when you go look at the car. It also gives you immediate spending power which is good if there is more than one person interested in the car. But, how can you get the best car loan possible?

There are some ways to score a great used car loan. For one thing, you should make sure that your credit report is a clean as possible. Pay your bills on time and make sure that your spending lines up with what you can afford to pay. The better your credit is, the better the rate on your loan will be. It is also important to use a good lender. Make sure you find a lender who is reputable and offers great customer service. Ask friends and family for advice and check out any potential lender with the Better Business Bureau.

It is best to know how much you want to spend when you apply for a used car loan. A car loan is usually secured by the vehicle for collateral. Most lenders will not finance a vehicle that is over five or six years old, so keep that in mind when you are considering different cars. In general, the car loan process is fairly simple and quick.

So, when you are searching for a used car loan, keep these tips in mind. If you are careful and wise, you can find a great used car as well as a great deal on financing! Above all regarding the financing, be sure to shop around -- the lending market is extremely competitive, and you can save a bundle if you take the time to shop around for your used car loan with the same car you used when you selected the used car to purchase.

Getting pre-approved for bad credit car financing will help you get the
best rates possible. Pre-approved auto loans also give you an edge
during car shopping, providing you with the most options. Your car shopping
experience can be focused on getting the best price on a car, rather
than worrying about financing.

Why Pre-Approved Loans Are Better

Some dealerships would have you think that getting financing with bad
credit is nearly impossible. Not so. By researching lenders and their
financing packages, you can find near market rates.

By getting pre-approved, you also remove a barrier when negotiating the
price of your car. With a blank check in your hand, you can buy from
any dealership or person. Sellers are much more willing to go down in
price in order to seal the deal.

Start By Finding A Good Sub Prime Lender

Most financing companies deal with prime and sub prime car loans. So
start your financing search by asking for loan quotes from several
different lenders. If you have no idea who to look at, start with recommended
sites.

When you ask for quotes, consider all possible terms. For example,
selecting an adjustable rate loan will give you a lower initial payment
than a fixed rate loan. Buying from a dealership will also get you better
rates.

Look at fees and closing costs, not just fees, when comparing car
loans. The APR number will give you the overall cost of the loan, a helpful
number to use. If you are planning to refinance, lean toward a low
application fee loan with slightly higher rates. This can save you money in
the long run.

Online Application Speeds Car Loan Process

Car financing companies have developed online loan applications to save
time and money. By having you enter your basic personal and financial
information, lenders can limit the number of personnel needed to process
your loan.

As a result, you can receive a blank check for you car purchase in five
to seven days. You will also receive your loan contract at the same
time. When you are ready to purchase your car, you simply sign both the
check and loan contract.

When you talk to national auto lenders be sure not to allow them to have the knowledge of how much money you are capable of spending per month on your auto loan. Dealing With Insurance

I learned of a story this week that really tugs at the heartstrings.

A man in our area is fighting with his insurance company because they don't feel he is stressed enough. Mental maybe, but not stressed.

Let me go back to the beginning. The man, a family guy whose life was good; wife, children, job. Then they have a child who is not well and has to live at Toronto Sick Kids Hospital with mom at his side. That's bad. Dad is stressed. He can't eat, he can't sleep, he can't concentrate at work. That in itself is a safety hazard cause his job entails concentration.

So, the man's doctor does not think this man should be at work. His new child, is dependent on him and he needs to focus. The doctor says this guy is a mess. The man needs to be there for his other children and he needs to be there for his wife.

The doctor tells this man he is far too stressed to work and tells him get the insurance papers. The man has been paying into this program for years and has never filed a claim. Now he needs the service. He brings the papers to the doctor, the doctor fills them out and the man sends them away. The insurance company declines the request. They want to know what drugs he is taking. They want to know 20 pages of stuff. They suggest the man may need a psychiatrist. They could fulfill the wishes of the applicant if he could just be crazy. The man does not want to be mentally ill, he just wants to help his family. Maybe he should see a psychiatrist to confirm his case.

There are many people who think they are covered under all kinds of policies. That is until they try to collect.

David Share, a life insurance denial lawyer who specializes in these kinds of cases says he fights the insurance companies in such issues and usually wins. He says it is difficult to know what the "magic wording" is in this man's situation but at the end of the day, if a doctor states the man is stressed, that is almost always the final word. He said a legal solution is not immediate and will not alleviate the financial situation for the man, but it is a means to the end. Medical evidence is solid, he says and that should not be disputed.

Granted, the insurance company deals with fraud all the time. That is a given in today's society. People try to stick it to the big guy. So, premiums go up and we all pay. But, in this case, the man has what seems to be a valid claim. Maybe the illness is not specifically to him, it is his dependent child who is sick. That is likely what the insurance company is hanging its hat on. More and more employees who find themselves unable to work due to serious illness, accident or stress find that between their employer and group disability insurer, the race is on to show them the back of the hand, and the door. Please visit sharelawyers.com for more information.

New Car Loans - How Much Can You Afford To Borrow?

Before you start car shopping, first figure out what you can afford for a car payment. Look at your budget, research auto loans, and investigate lenders. Once armed with this information, you can choose a car that you can both enjoy and afford.

Expense Of A Car

According to the FCIC, a car payment should be less than 20% of your after living expenses budget. While this is a good number to start with, you will want to look at your own budget numbers. Be sure to include other miscellaneous car costs, including fuel, insurance, and licensing fees.

You will also want to plan on a down payment and enough cash for the initial license, registration, and sales tax.

Terms Of Auto Loans

Auto loans vary with their terms rather than financing options. With a down payment of at least 10%, you can expect to find reasonable rates. While you can find auto loans with zero down, rates will be much higher. In fact if you can put down more than 10%, you will save more money in interest charges than if you get a lower rate.

Another way to pay less for your auto loan is to opt for a shorter term. You can get a seven year loan, but you are adding hundreds of dollars for those lower monthly payments. However, base your decision on what you can afford with your budget.

Auto Loan Lenders

Auto loans arent simply limited to your dealership or local bank. You can find hundreds of online financing companies who can offer you a great deal. Take a couple of hours to request quotes. Compare the rates and terms to select the best deal.

Even if you have poor credit, still check with conventional lenders. More and more are offering sub-prime lending. You may be surprised at the low rates offered to those with damaged credit.

You can also opt to be pre-approved, which will give additional leverage when negotiating your car deal. The application process is handled online, and you walk into the dealership with a blank check. The loan is finished when you fill in the amount and sign final paperwork.
